Since the launching of The Shorncliffe Preservation Society (SPS)  I have been pleasantly surprised with the response. It seems there are a number of people who feel as passionately as I do about this site.

 

So I would formerly like to propose the founding of “The Shorncliffe Redoubt Preservation Society”.

 

The first aim of the society is to recruit supporters. Please register your interest! You can do this by clicking the link below to access our online membership form and add yourself to our long list of supporters. Please could I have your contact details, individuals’ names (especially if a family want to be involved) and skills you think might be helpful to the society. These skills can be anything from being able to drive a digger, surveying skills or even knowledge of heritage organisations.

 

I don’t want your money, not yet anyway, just your support. When I feel we have enough members I will send out our first Newsletter, outlining a proposed strategy to save this site. Till then, start talking among the ranks and around the campfire, let’s get this going.
